As Hong Kong’s temperature starts to gradually rise, I grab the opportunity to bare a bit more skin than usual. As a result, I ended up exploring Tai O with a bare back and no worries about feeling too warm – which is always a good thing – as our little venture around the quaint fishing village ensues.

Tai O is fairly near our HK flat and I don’t know why it took us a while to visit (much less consider) this place but we finally got around to doing so. The place is known for its stilt houses and pink dolphin sightings – who were unfortunately nowhere to be found during our visit but didn’t make it any less great.

It was also very serene which made it the perfect place to just take a stroll, enjoy the scenery, and try the local delights which was exactly what we did.
