And finally, in the midst of all the fashion school work, travelling, and life in general I finally found spare time to shoot. This photo series I did with Chiara is something I’m quite excited about partly because I’m wearing the creations of young, local designers and because the photos turned out to be such a dream which did the garments some justice.
Chiara’s photography is pure magic, really. And so is Aria’s hair and makeup skills (#browsonfleek). I only wish to be able have such a good skillset. I’m glad to have had the pleasure with working with them. In between takes or during hair and makeup, we would chat about passion projects, creatives, today’s youth, makeup collections, etc. Our little talks sparked much-needed motivation and inspiration in me.
I do remember, in my previous posts, talking about focusing more on designers and less fast fashion. I’m happy it’s all underway. I want my blog to be an avenue of sorts for local designers, especially, to be discovered or put a well-deserved spotlight on so expect to see more of such in the upcoming blog posts. First up, Rosbert Villar. More about him in the next photo set but for now, I’ll let the photos and his garment do the talking.
