THE MUST-VISIT PRIVATE ISLAND IN PALAWAN

I’ve always hoped for an extremely spontaneous travel plan to happen but I just learned I’m not that good with spontaneity.

Rewind to last week where my mother abruptly told me to pack my bags and head to the airport ASAP to catch the next flight to Puerto Princesa — I found myself scrambling all over the house, trying to grab (and remember) what I would be needing for this trip.

Safe to say I was able to grab all my necessities, passport included.

Before I proceed any further, I apologize in advance for the lack of photos because I wanted to take a break from the digital and live in the moment but I do hope you enjoy what I did manage to capture.

We arrived just before sunset and the light was beautiful and perfect. Accompanied by the sound of waves crashing and the feeling of incredibly soft sand in between my toes, I truly felt like I was in paradise.

The place was also pretty quiet in spite of having other vacationers around which makes it a good choice if you want some R&R. They also don’t hold back when it comes to food servings so you’re sure to have a full stomach with each meal.

Another tidbit, shared by the staff of this little island resort, is that you’ll be able to cover the whole area in around 15-20 mins. Like I said, small island.
