Ocean’s Telephone Co. is serving some major film noir vibes with its quilted leather couches and a sufficiently lit interior care of a red neon sign. That, and my newly trimmed fringe which is reminiscent of Mia Wallace’s of Pulp Fiction. And no, these are not stills from a Quentin Tarantino movie.
This new fringe of mine has got me channelling an alter-ego. Or is this just my subconscious attempt of trying to be a cooler Asian? Whichever the case, it doesn’t seem so bad. It’s like I hit the refresh button for the new year. Probably just one of those typical new year, new me scenarios. Or should I say new year, better me?
Bad habits are definitely hard to break especially your age-old ones but hey, isn’t 2017 the year to conquer (or so everyone says)? Then it’s high-time to go forth and defeat your demons. If at any point you feel discouraged, just remember what good ol’ Obama used to say – YES YOU CAN.
Shun the non-believers!!!
